You are cordially invited to the European Conference: MAKING GLOBAL CONNECTIONS Development Education in Schools. The conference will take place in Limassol, Cyprus from 8 until 10 April 2010, and will be opened by the honorable Dr. Andreas Demetriou, Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Cyprus. Other speakers include distinguished experts in the field of Education and Development Education from across Scotland, Lithuania, England, Ireland and Cyprus.

The conference will bring together teachers, NGO representatives, active citizens and experts from across Europe. It will offer many interactive workshop sessions to share good practices of Development Education in schools, to explore challenges and op­portunities in linking Development Education to school curricula, and to enhance the participants’ skills in the field of Development Education.
